One feature I would really like to see in Palworld is the option to bring an existing character into another world or multiplayer session, while still keeping the new world balanced.
For example, if I have spent a lot of time playing solo and have reached Level 50, but my friends start a new multiplayer world, I currently have to create a completely new character and start over if I want to join them.
Instead, players could have the option to transfer their existing character into that world, but have their progression temporarily scaled or capped to match the players in the new guild.
For example, if I join a guild where the lowest-level player is Level 10, my Level 50 character could temporarily be capped at Level 10, or perhaps within a small range such as 3 levels above the lowest or highest eligible guild member. As the guild progresses, my available level would increase with them.
To prevent transferred characters from giving players an unfair advantage:
This would make it much easier for players to move between solo and multiplayer sessions without constantly starting from zero.
It would also help in the opposite situation. If your friends already have an established world and you are behind them, you could level your character independently and then join their world when you are ready, rather than asking everyone else to restart just because a new player wants to join.
Players who enjoy starting fresh could still create a new character, but players who have already invested many hours into their character would have another option.
I think this would make Palworld much more flexible for groups of friends, encourage both solo and multiplayer play, and make joining different worlds feel less punishing while still protecting each world's progression and balance.

To prevent transferred characters from giving players an unfair advantage:
- Higher-level equipment could be locked until the appropriate level or technology is reached in the new world.
- Technology and crafting unlocks could follow the progression of the new world.
- Previously earned items or abilities could become available again once their normal requirements are met.
- Players could optionally bring a limited selection of Pals, with their usable levels capped based on the guild's current progression.
- Server owners could choose whether character and Pal transfers are allowed.
