💬 Discussion Who is "the Pikachu"?

Pikachu is without a doubt one of the most popular and recognizable Pokemon, and even those unfamiliar with the series can often name him or know of him.

Which Pal do you think is (or will be/should be) "the Pikachu"; easily recognizable, used in most promotions, etc?

Oh yeah Grizzbolt for sure. I'm sure there's people who want Lovander to be the "Pikachu" of the series as a joke though lol.

That would be Vixy which I guess could be the Pikachu of the series. I suppose Relaxsarus could be too since it's the Pal on the icon for the game itself.

If we are talking which is the closest parody of, I'd say Sparkit is like the half-way point between Pikachu/Raichu.
Grizzbolt is more of an Electabuzz IMO.

If we are talking about likability or as a game mascot, I'd say the ones that appeared most in the advertisements wielding guns, like Lamball/ Tanzee/Lifmunk. My vote is for Lifmunk because it's about as cute and rodent like as Pikachu, and would make great plushies and mascot merch. Tanzee is a close second though, and his head crest definitely embodies the vibe this game gives off LOL.

Edit: In hindsight, Lamball will probably be most recognizable, because it's showed up the most in banners/ads I've seen. Plus it has an obvious and easy to remember name.

Im going to agree with this. While Grizzbolt would be the evolution from Sparkit, effectively being the next "Raichu"

Honestly now that I think about it, I would like to consider Cattiva the mascot. I love cats though lol, and it's one of the first pals you run into anyways.

Grizzbot seems to be the one I have seen mentioned by many as being like Pikachu in Palworld.

Cattvia is one that I enjoy but then again, I do love cats so I am a little biased.

Yeah I've been seeing a lot of Depresso memes as of late. I love that little guy though, cats are the best IMO and I think a lot of us can relate to that Pal lol.
