someone had made a Pokémon mod where pals get replaced with Pokémon ,does anyone know what happened to that guy

Nintendo DMCA it like usual. That's why you have to be careful using their characters in any fan made project, even if you're not making money off of it which is just how they are. At least I should be able to add random Sonic the Hedgehog assets to the game if I wanted to since Sega does what Nintendon't! (Allow their fans to make fan content with their characters lol.)

So honestly he got what he asked for. There are ways to make Pokemon mods and survive though, just look at Pixelmon.

No, I don't think it's still being distributed. That would be a huge mistake. I saw a video on YT a while ago that he no longer wants to distribute it for obvious reasons. I wouldn't want Nintendo/GameFreak come after me, lol.

It wouldn't surprise me if it's still being shared online, but the creator doesn't want to be associated with it no longer. I wouldn't want Nintendo to take me to court. Honestly when anyone does something big like this with Nintendo's franchises, it gets spread to large news sites and the projects always get removed either by Nintendo threatening the creators or the creators canceling the project before Nintendo catches wind. Though it makes me wonder... is there a Digimon mod? I'll have to go do some research.
