Hey everyone!

As many of you, I've diving deep into Palworld lately and it's incredibly addictive. So I wanted to open up a discussion about how everyone's feeling about the game.

Personally, I'm finding it incredibly fun and, yes, quite the time sink! What really stands out to me is the sheer freedom the game offers. You can take it at your own pace, exploring and engaging with the world in whatever way you choose.

The difficulty balance has hit the sweet spot for me. It's structured in a way that allows your "Pals" to take the front lines in battles, especially against bosses, while you play a more supportive role. This combat style is something I've really come to appreciate. It's not overwhelmingly hard, but it's not a walk in the park either.

I'm curious to hear your thoughts! How are you finding the game? What aspects are you enjoying the most? Are there any strategies or tips you've discovered that you want to share?

Let's discuss the different ways we're experiencing Palworld and what makes it stand out to each of us. Looking forward to hearing from all of you!

I've been addicted to this game! I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do, but it's slowly starting to become one of my favorite games of all time. I love the pacing myself, I can take as much time as I need to explore the world and gather material needed to make certain weapons and other helpful items. I love that you can fuse pals together to create stronger ones, something that a lot of monster collecting games tend to lack. Heck I love the pal designs too! I can't wait for the devs to add cross play so everyone can play together without having to worry about which platform you're playing the game on.

Admittedly when I first heard about the game I was skeptical. But it keeps popping up and now you've made a forum for it Cedric

I think one of the things that caught my attention was this reddit post:
"I’m a 31 year old dad of 3 kids working 9-5 and have maybe 2-3 nights a week to game for a few hrs each session. Its been impossible getting into modern AAA titles despite them mostly having positive reviews. Palworld made me feel like a kid playing on my gameboy color for the first time on christmas morning. Bravo to the dev team for finding that essence that seems to be lost in modern games nowadays."

32yo mom of 3 boys and I can't remember the last game I really played outside of Stardew Valley and Resident Evil. Buuut maybe this one

I thought this game was going to be just a one off for me. I have SO MANY Steam games that I've played once then uninstalled and never touched.

This is not one of those games. I love everything about it; exploration, catching Pals, base building... I love so many designs and the ability to attack while mounted. The breeding is ... strange, though. I've figured out some of it, but I need to look a bit more into it, I wasn't expecting separate species to produce an offspring that WASN'T one of the parents.

So far, it's kept my attention for days and I've decided to set up a dedicated server for my wife, my friends and their friends!

my group thought this be a crap game. they got it while i was at work.. they play for 8 hours straight and told me to get it. so i did! been hook ever since.
i honestly think if i didn't get the game, they would for me since i the server hoster of the group(i host ARK,the forest, other game servers). now trying to get an copy for a friend who wants it but cant afford it. he must lost his soul to this game too!

A friend asked me if I was going to play Pokemon with guns, before I heard about Palworld, I didn't really pay attention to what he said but after I saw some game play I realized how solid this game is. For someone that really likes Pokemon it kinda makes me sad how many people abuse their pals in this game tbh

From what I have seen so far, I totally understand why its been so popular, but as someone that plays a lot of procedurally generated games, I kinda wish the world would just be a bit bigger.
